The ideal environment for this breed is indoors and outdoors. To help your pet adjust to being in your environment it is important to allow your pet equal time in and out of their crate. While you are at work if you have the proper sized crate they can spend 6-8 hours in their crate. If you have a back yard with a fence, a 6 ft privacy fence is preferred they can spend the same time outside until you return from work.
Walking them 30 minutes a day or 1 mile per day will help your pet stay healthy.
Your pet can adapt to living in condos or apartments however they need to be walked as often as possible. Check with your apartment or condo rules about pets before purchasing.
